The purpose of the Network of Alabama Academic Libraries (NAAL) is to coordinate academic library resource sharing to enhance education and research. AUM Library’s Unique Marketing Campaign: "We’ve Got You Covered"
"One of the things I regularly ask my team to think about is how can we have a greater impact on our students. The idea of checking out umbrellas was the result of seeing students (as well as faculty/staff) running to and from our building during downpours. We all know an uncomfortable student is not going to learn much so we collaborated with our colleagues in the Warhawk Academic Success Center (WASC) to design a "we’ve got you covered" campaign. The umbrellas were an instant hit and the students have really embraced the "we’ve got you covered" campaign. Whenever there is rain, one is sure to see our black and white umbrellas all over campus."
